We pass each other wasting. We tolerate everything and oppose nothing. To leave everything we have ever known, to drop all our comforts, to revert rather than divert. The tie becomes a noose, the watch becomes a shackle, the spectacles become blindfolds, our names become tags and the suits we spend day after day preparing to be accepted becomes a straight jacket.
